Overview
The Board of Education provides strategic guidance to ensure every student develops the enduring knowledge, skills, and character to thrive in a changing world. Board members represent the community and help ensure efficient, effective operations. In fulfilling this responsibility, the board concerns itself primarily with adopting policy, planning school services, and evaluating the quality of district services.
Board meetings are held monthly during the academic year. Unless otherwise noticed, all regular meetings start at 5:00 pm and will be held in the Carbondale district office at 400 Sopris Ave. in the Colorado Room.
